Our principal and staff
Our school team is committed to every student’s learning, wellbeing and sense of belonging. We work together to create a supportive and inclusive school where every child is set up for success.
Welcome from our principal
“We are truly delighted to welcome you to our warm and caring school community at Bangalow Public School. Here, every child is known, valued, and supported to grow and shine. Situated proudly on Arakwal land within the Bundjalung nation, we come together to create a safe and respectful place where curiosity and a love of learning can flourish.
Our passionate staff use explicit, personalised, and differentiated teaching practices tailored to student needs to ensure each child reaches their full potential academically, socially, and emotionally. Our dedicated students and staff celebrate continual improvement and high expectations, demonstrating strong growth in academic results and continuing to thrive in sporting, public speaking, creative, and performing arts achievements.
Our core values—Be Safe, Be Respectful, Be a Learner—underpin everything we do, creating a safe and inclusive environment where students feel valued and supported. We embrace the rich diversity of our community, working closely with families and our passionate parent community to build genuine partnerships that enhance learning and wellbeing.
With contemporary learning spaces and a focus on wellbeing that promotes resilience and emotional intelligence, Bangalow Public School is a place where students thrive, grow, and are inspired to contribute positively to the world around them.
We look forward to welcoming your family to our school community and partnering with you on your child’s educational journey.”
