A year at our school
Harmony Day
Our students celebrate our cultural diversity by living the Harmony Week message: Everyone belongs.
Book Week
Our students showcase their joy and love of books as they dress up in wonderful characters, creative costumes and home made masterpieces during our Book Week Parade.
Pit Stop Trials
Our school gathers together to cheer on the competitors for our Bangalow Billy Cart teams. The fastest team will represent our school at the annual Bangalow Billy Cart Derby.
'On Country' Excursions with Aunty Delta
As part of our NAIDOC celebrations, students attend an ‘On Country’ excursion, guided by Aunty Delta. They are special days of learning and connecting with Bundjalung culture. The students love listening to Aunty Delta’s stories, exploring the land, and beginning to understand the deep connection between Country and people.
Colour Fun Run
Each year, Bangalow Public School holds regular fundraising events with our P&C. Our Colour Fun Run Day is always a blast with bright smiles and bright colours!
Bangalow Show
Our students attend the Bangalow Show in November to discover whether they have won a prize for their artwork or short story. We also walk around the showground. The reptile show and the show jumping are hugely popular with our students. It is a highlight in our calendar.
