Our extra-curricular highlights
Debating and public speaking
Students can develop their thinking, communication and teamwork skills through debating and public speaking. They also have the chance to compete in local and state events.
Creative and performing arts
Our drama, music and art programs help students be creative and express themselves. They can join in musical performances, concerts, art shows and drama activities.
Bangalow Public School has a whole school production on even years and an art show on odd years to showcase our creative and performing arts.
Trips and excursions
Our students enjoy getting out of the classroom to explore, learn and try new things. These experiences help them grow, build confidence and see how their learning connects to the world.
Student voice and leadership
Every semester, two students from each class are selected for the Student Representative Council, where they contribute to important discussions, decisions and events that shape our school.
Our Year 6 students lead our fortnightly Peer Support sessions which build strong relationships across the school.
